Nineteen Minutes

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

  1. A fictionalized account of the Columbine shootings. Held me in suspense until the very end.

  2. I read this book a few years ago and I couldn't put it down; and have since recommended it to several of my friends. With that being said, it terrified me and I feel that this book may be too dark for the OBOS selection. I can't help but feel that the OBOS selection should send somewhat of a positive message to its readers.

  3. But sadly that's a reality in today's world. And, although a comic book, last year's selection was about gang violence.
At least this one is very well written and researched.
